Beach Bungalow
A stand-alone beachfront bungalow with high ceilings, private veranda, outdoor shower, wet bar and seating area.

A deeply private Andros retreat shaped by oceanfront cottages, barefoot style, and island rhythm.
We recommend Kamalame Cay for travelers who want genuine seclusion without sacrificing character or good food. The private-island setting feels deeply personal, with oceanfront cottages, golf carts, empty beaches and a relaxed rhythm shaped by Andros.
What stands out most is the intimacy: couples can disappear into quiet, while families and groups have spacious villas, water activities and flexible dining plans.
Kamalame Cay is a private-island retreat off Andros, reached by a short ferry after arriving on the island. The resort's 21 seaside rooms and suites sit in cottages, bungalows and Balinese-style beach houses, while a separate villa collection adds one- to four-bedroom homes for families and groups.
The design is deliberately individual rather than uniform. Oceanfront verandas, outdoor showers, whitewashed materials and tropical gardens create an easy indoor-outdoor rhythm, with bicycles and personal golf carts supporting the relaxed pace of the cay.
Dining can be tailored through accommodation-only, Standard Guest of House or Premium Guest of House plans. Days center on the beach, the Andros reef, water activities, island excursions and the Bahamas' only overwater spa.
This is a strong choice for couples, families and private groups who value privacy, nature and a personal atmosphere more than a conventional full-service resort schedule.
