Day 01

Arrival in Strasbourg — A City Between Worlds

Meet your private driver at Strasbourg airport or station, or arrive by private transfer from Paris, Basel, Zurich or another regional gateway. Settle into your hotel in the historic center, close to the canals, cathedral and pedestrian streets. Depending on arrival time, enjoy an easy stroll through La Petite France or an evening boat ride on the Ill. The first day is intentionally relaxed, allowing time to settle in and dine at an Alsatian restaurant chosen around your preferences.

Strasbourg — Cathedral, Canals & European Heritage
Day 02

Strasbourg — Cathedral, Canals & European Heritage

Explore Strasbourg privately with a licensed guide, starting at the cathedral and its remarkable Gothic façade, moving through medieval lanes and Renaissance houses, and following the canals around La Petite France and the tanners’ quarter. The afternoon can focus on the European Quarter, the Musée de l’Œuvre Notre-Dame, decorative arts, modern Strasbourg, or offer time for cafés and shopping. Your guide adapts the experience to your interests and comfort.

Obernai, Mont Sainte-Odile & Northern Alsace
Day 03

Obernai, Mont Sainte-Odile & Northern Alsace

Leave Strasbourg with your private driver-guide for the Vosges foothills. Stroll through Obernai, known for its ramparts and charming central square, then continue to Mont Sainte-Odile for panoramic views and an introduction to the region’s spiritual history. Return via Barr or another village on the northern Wine Route. The day may include a private artisan visit, a regional food tasting, or a vineyard-heritage stop tailored for your group.

Haut-Koenigsbourg & the Storybook Villages → Colmar
Day 04

Haut-Koenigsbourg & the Storybook Villages → Colmar

Travel south to Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, dramatically perched above the Rhine plain. Visit the restored medieval fortress with a private guide, weather and schedule permitting. Journey onward through central Alsace’s village landscapes, selecting stops such as Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, and Kaysersberg according to the season and your pace. Arrive in Colmar or at a Wine Route hotel for the next three nights.

Colmar — Art, Canals & Alsatian Detail
Day 05

Colmar — Art, Canals & Alsatian Detail

Meet a private guide for a walking tour of Colmar’s historic center, where colorful façades, merchant houses and canals showcase one of the region’s most distinctive cityscapes. Discover Little Venice, the covered market, and detailed architecture that reveals the city’s commercial past. Continue to the Unterlinden Museum for a private or guided visit (subject to availability), or choose a culinary walk, artisan workshop, or more free time. The day maintains a personal, unhurried approach to Colmar.

Eguisheim & the Southern Wine Route
Day 06

Eguisheim & the Southern Wine Route

Explore the southern Alsace Wine Route by private driver-guide, beginning in Eguisheim and continuing through vineyard landscapes and smaller villages selected according to the season. Learn how geology, architecture, and family traditions have shaped the region. The day may include a vineyard walk, non-alcoholic grape or juice tasting, artisan workshop, e-bike ride, or leisurely regional lunch. Return to your hotel for a restful final evening.

Departure from Alsace
Day 07

Departure from Alsace

After breakfast, meet your private driver for a transfer to Colmar or Strasbourg station, Strasbourg airport, Basel, Zurich or your next destination. The final transfer is planned according to your travel schedule and any necessary border-crossing requirements. The itinerary can be extended into Burgundy, Champagne, Paris, Switzerland or Germany, or redesigned as a festive Christmas-market version with extra nights and specially timed tours.

A bespoke proposal can be tailored to your dates and party.
