Serengeti and Zanzibar
The most iconic safari country we book. Two-camp Serengeti circuit (Singita Grumeti for the south-west, Asilia in the north for the river crossings), Ngorongoro for the crater, then Zanzibar to wash off the dust.
We move with the migration by light aircraft, not by minivan. The difference is most of what you came for.
Peak migration in the north, river crossings Jul – Sep.
Calving begins in the south, fewer guests, soft rates.
Calving season in the southern Serengeti, predator action peaks.
Most camps close, lush but inaccessible.
Curated itineraries currently featuring Tanzania:
Handpicked stays we love and recommend, chosen for their exceptional service, setting, and style — for every kind of traveler.
