The Journey

Day by Day

Arrival in Paris
Day 01

Arrival in Paris

Meet your private driver at the airport or railway station and transfer in comfort to your hotel in central Paris. After check-in, the remainder of the day is intentionally unplanned, allowing time to settle in and begin discovering the neighborhood at your own pace. Your BookTravel concierge can arrange a relaxed first-evening dinner reservation based on your preferred atmosphere and cuisine.

Paris in Perspective
Day 02

Paris in Perspective

Begin with a privately guided introduction to Paris, designed around the city's essential landmarks and the stories that connect them. Depending on your interests and hotel location, the route may include the historic Île de la Cité, the Latin Quarter, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the elegant viewpoints around the Eiffel Tower. The afternoon is yours to continue exploring independently, pause at a favorite café or add an optional vintage Citroën 2CV or sidecar experience for a more playful perspective on the capital.

The Louvre & Paris from the Seine
Day 03

The Louvre & Paris from the Seine

Meet your licensed guide for a private visit to the Louvre. Rather than trying to see everything, the experience is carefully shaped around a thoughtful selection of masterpieces, with context and stories that make the museum feel personal and engaging. Later, step aboard a private boat for an elegant cruise along the Seine. With Champagne served on board, watch the city unfold from the water as the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Notre-Dame, historic bridges and the Eiffel Tower pass by.

The Parisian Art of Living
Day 04

The Parisian Art of Living

Discover one of Paris's most atmospheric neighborhoods through its food and local savoir-faire. Choose Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Marais or Montmartre, and follow a private food expert between artisan bakeries, pastry boutiques, chocolatiers, cheese shops and carefully selected gourmet addresses. The afternoon remains free for shopping, galleries or a long lunch. A private fashion-history walk, haute-couture atelier visit, personal shopping experience or hands-on cooking class can be added on request.

Giverny & Versailles
Day 05

Giverny & Versailles

Leave Paris for a full-day private journey connecting two very different expressions of French beauty. In Giverny, walk through Claude Monet's house and gardens, from the flower-filled Clos Normand to the Japanese bridge and water-lily pond that inspired some of his most celebrated paintings. Continue to Versailles for a guided visit of the State Apartments, Hall of Mirrors and formal gardens. Royal history, architecture and landscape design come together in one of France's most extraordinary estates before your private return to Paris. Giverny is seasonal, generally available from April through October. The order of Giverny and Versailles may be adjusted around timed-entry availability.

Impressionist Paris
Day 06

Impressionist Paris

Continue the story of French art with a private guided visit combining the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée de l'Orangerie. In the former railway station of the Orsay, discover works by Monet, Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh and other defining artists of the nineteenth century. At the Orangerie, experience Monet's monumental Water Lilies in their serene, purpose-designed galleries. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. For the final evening, your concierge can reserve a special restaurant or arrange a Michelin-starred dinner cruise as an optional finale.

Departure
Day 07
